Patient Centricity and the Evolving Role of Medical Affairs
The Medical Affairs Leaders Alliance (MALA) is pleased to invite you to participate in this survey designed to explore patient-centricity and the evolving role of medical affairs.
MALA is a non-competitive collaboration of leading Medical Affairs executives from across the industry. Facilitated by IQVIA, our group explores the issues we face as Medical Affairs professionals. We hope through initiatives such as this to propose solutions to some of these challenges and help shape the future of Medical Affairs.
With this inter-company survey our aim is to publish a whitepaper that explores the impact of our patient-centric activities and how they maximize patient benefit. The survey was developed in conjunction with IQVIA, a third-party provider, and is hosted on the Qualtrics platform. We want to reassure you this is not a promotional exercise and if you have been contacted directly it has been through medical affairs colleagues’ recommendations.
You will be asked to provide consent before launching the questionnaire, which should take approximately 15 minutes. Your responses will be strictly confidential, and you may discontinue and withdraw at any time. The results will be published in Q4 however if you wish to receive a copy of the whitepaper directly you may elect to do this by entering your email below.
Please reach out to the survey administrators Tracy Huggins (
tracy.huggins@iqvia.com
) or Chippen Zhao (
chippen.zhao@iqvia.com
) with any questions or concerns.
If you would like to know more about MALA, please reach out to Sam Foster (

We thank you in advance for your contribution to an initiative we hope will advance the patient-centricity conversation and collect invaluable Medical Affairs insights.
